Client Responsibilities

Contractor and Subcontractor Obligations

No extra work will be performed without a signed change order unless required to address an immediate safety hazard or code violation.
Cancellations, Rescheduling, and Project Delays
Clients may cancel or reschedule services subject to the terms of the contract. Cancellations after commencement of work may incur cancellation fees to cover labor, materials, and prearranged subcontractor commitments. We are not responsible for delays caused by factors outside our control, such as inclement weather, supply chain disruptions, permit delays, third-party actions, or force majeure events.
Warranties and Guarantees
We provide workmanship warranties as specified in your project contract. Warranties cover defects arising from the performance of labor and services. Manufacturer warranties may apply to certain materials and products and are handled according to the manufacturer's policies.
Warranties are voided by improper use, lack of maintenance, unauthorized alterations, or damage caused by third parties. Remedies under warranty are limited to repair or replacement of defective work at our discretion, subject to the terms and limits outlined in the contract and applicable law.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for claims arising out of or related to the Services or website is limited to direct damages not exceeding the total amount paid by the client for the specific project giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to loss of use, loss of income, lost profits, or increased living expenses.
Insurance and Risk Allocation
We maintain commercially reasonable insurance coverage, including general liability, build risk, and workers' compensation as required by law.
General Liability
Protects homeowners and contractors from financial losses arising from third-party claims of bodily injury and property damage that occur during renovation projects, covering construction incidents, accidental damage to a homeowner’s property, or advertising injury claims.
Worker's Compensation
Protects employees and subcontractors from medical expenses and lost wages if they are injured while working on a home remodeling and renovation general contractor project, typically covering medical treatment, rehabilitation, disability benefits and partial wage replacement for on-the-job injuries.
Build Risk / Contract Work
Protects homeowners against accidental loss or damage during construction, including fire, vandalism, theft of materials, and certain weather events, covering the structure under renovation and custom builds to fulfill contractual obligations to homeowners.
Intellectual Property
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for claims arising out of or related to the Services or website is limited to direct damages not exceeding the total amount paid by the client for the specific project giving rise to the claim. Photos, Media, and Project Promotion
We may document project progress with photographs or videos for quality control and promotional purposes. By contracting for Services, you grant us the right to photograph and use images of the project for marketing, portfolios, and social media, unless you expressly decline such use in writing. We will respect reasonable privacy requests and will not publish images containing personal data beyond what is necessary for project documentation.
User Content and Communications
Users may submit reviews, comments, photographs, or other content to the website ("User Content") and other third-party websites.
